Chris Evans is set to star in Red Sea Diving Resort, the Gideon Raff-directed drama that will be financed by Bron Studios. The drama revolves around the rescue and transport of Ethiopian Jews to Israel in 1981. Raff wrote the script and Alexandra Milchan is producing. Evans will play Ari Kidron, a charming Israeli agent who assembles a ragtag team to help with the exodus on the ground.

Evans will next be seen starring in the Marc Webb-directed Gifted for Fox Searchlight. He’s also reprising his Captain America role in the back-to-back sequels of Avengers: Infinity War.

He’s repped by CAA, 3 Arts and attorney Jason Sloane. [Source]

Things may have been tense between Captain American and Iron Man during Civil War, but there was little bad blood between the first Avenger and Spider-Man. Sure, the latter hero was tasked with webbing up the patriotic hero’s comrades, but the two men bonded over their love for New York and its boroughs. Many fans fawned over Peter Parker’s struck reaction to Captain America when the two met last year, so plenty wondered if the web-swinging hero would reference the spangled hero in his upcoming film.

Well, it looks like Spider-Man: Homecoming can do one better. Tomorrow, the new trailer for the superhero film will drop, but fans at Cinema Con got a sneak-peek of the video not long ago. And, according to ComicBook’s Brandon Davis, Captain America has a brief cameo in the trailer.

In the video, fans watch as Peter Parker adjusts back to life in New York following his stint in Germany with Iron Man. At one point in the trailer, the boy is shown in class watching a video with other students. The video then shows Captain America in his red-and-blue Avengers costume, and Peter can be seen looked at the screen with a somewhat bored expression.

For the second year in a row, Captain America saves the bottom line. Chris Evans is once again the best actor for the buck as his movies returned an average $135.80 at the box office for every $1 he was paid.

Thanks to his modest-paying titular roles in Marvel’s top-grossing Captain America flicks, Evans leads this year’s ranking of Hollywood’s best investments ahead of Chris Pratt ($125.40 return for every $1 paid). Pratt has benefited from the sizeable box office tallies of monster hits such as Jurassic World and Guardians of the Galaxy to earn a formidable return ratio. His comparatively low pay for films negotiated before the Parks and Recreation actor was a silver screen star aid his ROI.

To compile our rundown of Hollywood’s Best Actors For The Buck, we used earnings estimates from our Celebrity 100 list. We looked at the last three films each actor starred in before June 2016 (the end of our Celebrity 100 scoring period). We did not include animated films, movies where the actor appeared in a very small role, or movies that were released on fewer than 2,000 screens.

We then deducted the estimated production budget from the global box office for each film (using numbers from Box Office Mojo and other sources) to come up with a limited definition of each movie’s operating income. We added together the estimated total compensation for each star on the three movies and the operating income from each movie and then divided the total operation income by total pay to come up with the final return on investment number.
